MAKE: TV

I’m so excited to share this: PBS is producing a new TV show called MAKE: and I’m going to be on it! I’m doing the Maker Workshop segment, which means I get to build a cool project for each episode and explain how it all works.

We filmed the first episode a few weeks ago at Twin Cities Public Television’s studios and it was great fun. They’re among the nicest, most creative people I’ve worked with. I just saw a preview edit and it’s looking fantastic.

It should be airing in January ‘09. Here’s more info:

That is so frickin’ cool. Project number one for you: how can I trick my TiVo into recording a show that it has never heard of?!?

Thanks Christiane and Todd! I think my TiVo doesn’t think more than two weeks ahead, so that would be quite an impressive trick, Todd.
